RMSP PAC ENDORSES DENT FOR CONGRESS

Washington, DC – Today the Republican Main Street Partnership Political Action Committee announced its endorsement of Pennsylvania State Sen. Charlie Dent, who is running for Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District.

“Dent’s positions on issues such as fighting for tax relief, improving health care and ensuring the solvency of Social Security and Medicare make him an excellent choice for voters in the 15th District,” said RMSP PAC Advisory Board Member Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.). “He has proved himself as a leader in the Pennsylvania Senate, and RMSP PAC is confident he would do a great job in the U.S. Congress.”

Pennsylvania’s 15th district covers the Lehigh Valley and includes the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. It is one of the most closely watched congressional races in the nation.

“Dent is right kind of Republican to win this seat – a true fiscal conservative who takes a compassionate approach to social issues,” added Davis. The district is a classic swing district in a key battleground state. Its constituents voted 48 percent for President Bush and 49 percent for former Vice President Gore.
