Main Street PAC Unveils New Radio Ad in Maryland
Andy Harris Responsible for Millions in Wasteful Spending

(Washington, DC) - The Main Street PAC announced a new radio advertising campaign in Maryland’s First Congressional District.  The ad, entitled “The List Goes On,” reveals the truth about State Senator Andy Harris’ record of wasteful spending (the ad can be heard at www.mainstreetpac.com).  “Andy Harris voted to spend Maryland taxpayer dollars on a replica Indian village, a dancehall in Montgomery County, on redecorating politicians' offices in Annapolis, and even on a cow museum,” said Representative Tom Davis (R-VA), a member of the Main Street PAC.  “How will Andy Harris be able to eliminate wasteful spending in Washington, when his record in the Maryland legislature shows he is responsible for wasting millions of taxpayer dollars?”

The ad, which is running on Baltimore talk radio stations, points out that conservatives have a choice in this election, noting that Congressman Wayne Gilchrest is, "Endorsed by President Bush, Michael Steele and Newt Gingrich."

“Andy Harris wants the voters of this district to believe that he will change Washington,” continued Davis.  “The reality is that Andy Harris is just another politician who has picked up way too many free-spending bad habits in Annapolis.  Andy Harris’ free-spending bad habits have already cost Maryland taxpayers millions of dollars.”

“Maryland voters can’t afford Andy Harris representing them in Washington,” concluded Davis.
