Republican Main
Street Partnership PAC Unveils
Idaho Ad Exposing Sali Record
Sali’s Record of
Legislative Incompetence,
Questionable Deals, and Special
Interest Money is Everything
Wrong with Washington
(Washington, DC) - The
Republican Main Street
Partnership (RMSP) PAC unveiled
a new radio ad running in
Idaho’s First Congressional
District that exposes the record
of Bill Sali. "Idaho Republicans
deserve a candidate committed to
cleaning up the mess in
Washington," said Sarah
Chamberlain Resnick, head of the
RMSP PAC. "Bill Sali’s record
makes it clear he would be part
of the problem, not the
solution."
The Main Street PAC radio ad,
which began airing Friday,
details Bill Sali’s troubling
record. The ad, a copy of which
can be found on the Main Street
PAC’s web page (www.mainstreetpac.com),
ends by noting, "Bill Sali -
he’s everything wrong with
Washington."
The ad lets voters in Idaho’s
1st Congressional
District know about Bill Sali’s
legislative record. "Bill Sali’s
record is nothing to be proud of
- as a legislator, Sali was so
incompetent that the Republican
Speaker of the House took away
his committee slots," continued
Resnick.
In addition to a record of
legislative incompetence, Bill
Sali’s campaign is beholden to
special interest money pouring
in from outside of Idaho. More
than 80% of Sali’s money comes
from outside of Idaho. "Sali’s
campaign is filling its coffers
with the same type of special
interest money that has
corrupted the integrity of the
legislative process in
Washington," said Resnick.
"Unfortunately, questionable
ethical dealings aren’t limited
to folks in Washington,"
continued Resnick. "Idaho state
records show Sali solicited
private legal work from a state
agency he had just voted to
create."
"Bill Sali’s record of
legislative incompetence, his
reliance on special interest
money, and his questionable
ethical dealings, are emblematic
of everything wrong in
Washington," concluded Resnick.
