Republican Main
Street Partnership
PAC Raises Almost
$300,000 to Support
Republican
Candidates
Money Will Support
Centrists and Defend
the GOP’s
Congressional
Majorities
(Washington,
DC) - Last night,
the Republican Main
Street Partnership (RMSP)
PAC raised almost
$300,000 as part of
it’s ROMP (Retain
Our Majority Party)
efforts. "We are
thrilled at the
amazing success of
our ROMP event,"
said Sarah
Chamberlain Resnick,
head of the RMSP
PAC. "The funds
raised at this event
will allow the Main
Street PAC to
provide critical
support to centrist
Republican
candidates across
the country, and to
protect our
Congressional
majorities."
The RMSP PAC’s
fund-raising success
comes at a critical
time for the GOP
majority. Media
outlets have been
reporting increased
fund-raising by the
Democratic
Congressional
Campaign Committee.
"We have known for a
long time that the
future of the GOP
majorities,
particularly in the
House, depend on the
success of centrist
Republicans in
November. Now we
know that Main
Street’s PAC will
also play a critical
role in aiding those
centrist Republicans
and ensuring the
Congress remains in
Republican hands,"
continued
Chamberlain.
Main Street’s
ROMP event will
benefit Rep. Joe
Schwarz (R-MI), Rep.
Deborah Pryce
(R-OH), Rep. Jim
Gerlach (R-PA), Rep.
Nancy Johnson
(R-CT), Rep. Chris
Shays (R-CT), Rep.
Heather Wilson
(R-NM) and Rep. Rob
Simmons (R-CT).
"We thank
every one who so
generously supported
the Main Street PAC
and our centrist
members. Main
Street will continue
working to protect
and grow our
Republican
Congressional
majorities in
November," concluded
Resnick.
