Republican Main Street Partnership Applauds Dean Heller’s Victory in Nevada

Voters Reject Club for Growth’s
Efforts to Buy Nevada Seat

(Washington, DC) - The Republican Main Street Partnership PAC applauds Nevada Secretary of State Dean Heller’s victory in the Republican primary for Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District.  “We congratulate Dean Heller on his victory last night, and we look forward to working to ensure his election to the House in November,” said Sarah Chamberlain Resnick, head of the RMSP PAC.

Heller’s win is a blow to the Club for Growth, which spent heavily on his opponent Sharon Angle.  On Tuesday night Heller made it clear he was disappointed with the Club for Growth’s work.  According to the Las-Vegas Sun, Heller stated, “I am very disappointed that a third party that has no interest and no connection with the state thought that in the last two weeks of the campaign they could come into the state and buy the race.”

“We are pleased that voters in Nevada said no to the Club for Growth,” continued Resnick. “Dean Heller is a Reagan conservative who will make an outstanding member of Congress.”

Main Street will continue its work to protect and expand Republican majorities in both the House and Senate, and we look forward to making sure that Dean Heller is a part of that Republican majority,” concluded Resnick.
