Washington
,
DC
– The Republican Main Street Partnership Political Action
Committee announced today
it will support GOP candidate Adam Taff,
who is running for
Kansas
’ third congressional district.
“The
Republican Main Street Partnership PAC is proud to endorse Adam Taff
for Congress,” said the RMSP PAC's
Sarah Chamberlain Resnick
. “He supports
Main Street
values like improving education, cutting taxes and providing
seniors with a prescription drug benefit under Medicare. His
mainstream Republican views well represent those of Kansans.”
Taff
nearly defeated incumbent Dennis Moore in 2002 and is on track to
make that goal become a reality in 2004.
“
Moore
’s votes against prescription drugs and tax relief don’t
reflect the views of his constituents,” Chamberlain Resnick
noted. “If elected to Congress, Taff
would fight for these issues, which are among President Bush’s
top priorities.”
“Taff
is the Republican Party’s best chance of picking up this
seat,” Chamberlain Resnick added. “We urge all Republicans to
unite behind his candidacy.”
