Today the Republican Main Street Partnership Political Action Committee congratulated Georgia Rep. Johnny Isakson on his victory in the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate.

“RMSP PAC is pleased that Congressman Isakson won the Republican primary and is on track to become the next United States Senator from Georgia,” said RMSP PAC spokeswoman Kerry Kantin.

In addition to a hard-dollar contribution, RMSP PAC also did a get-out-the-vote drive for Isakson, who is a member of the Republican Main Street Partnership, during the final days of the campaign.

 “Isakson is a principled legislator who stands for the values of Main Street America: fighting for lower taxes and less government intrusion, supporting our troops and defending our homeland, and modernizing Medicare and Social Security for our seniors,” Kantin added. “It is evident by the overwhelming support he received in Tuesday’s election that his campaign is resonating with Georgia voters.”
